Here's me speaking about about my novel Everywhere She's Not at Malaprop's Bookstore in Asheville. At first, the Malaprop's folks set up only two short rows of seats, for maybe fourteen people. So I was, like, "Oh, no. Not good."
But then people kept coming in, and they kept having to bring out more chairs, and before long there were about 50 people in the audience, which was really nice.
I had a great time that night. So many people at the event had already read Everywhere, and had such beautiful things to say about it. So . . . I mean, you can't ask for more than that.
